Focusing on the core market: solving user pain points with a full system of products
In the interview, Yu Xiaoran stated that Huapu Science Instrument mainly focuses on fields with high requirements for separation and analysis, such as pharmaceuticals, food safety, materials science, and scientific research users. Taking the pharmaceutical industry as an example, in a strong regulatory environment, the industry as a whole has strict requirements for data traceability, audit tracing, and other aspects. Users have high demands for data compliance and integrity; In addition, supply chain security, whether there is a risk of supply interruption for critical consumables and core components that rely on imports; The purchase and lifecycle cost of instruments, separation efficiency, analysis efficiency, and flux are also key concerns for users. When it comes to pain points for users in the food industry, Yu Xiaoran pointed out that the biggest challenge currently faced is user usage habits. Due to the fact that foreign brands have been rooted in China for decades, customers have long relied on imported products and software, resulting in usage inertia, which is a common challenge faced by domestic instruments.
In response to user pain points, Huapu Instrument has launched the "Chromloong Chromatography Information Management System" on the software side. The software is independently developed by the company and has been iterated to version 3.0. It has made multiple improvements in data compliance and user friendliness, meeting regulatory requirements while also being more in line with user habits.

Dual wheel drive of research and development and market, accelerating globalization and localization
In the first half of this year, Huapu Keyi just completed a Pre-B round financing of over 100 million yuan, and the assistance of capital has further propelled the company's development onto the fast lane. When it comes to future key plans in technology research and market layout, Yu Xiaoran said that after financing, the company will focus on investing in three major directions. On the one hand, we will continue to expand our sales channels both domestically and internationally, and strengthen our after-sales service and technical support team as the installed capacity of instruments continues to increase. On the other hand, we will continue to invest in and improve the localization of our research and development supply chain, and promote the localization of core components. In addition, the company will continue to increase its R&D investment and focus on instrument hardware, software, and consumables.
In addition to the continuous iteration of Chromloong chromatography software mentioned earlier, in terms of hardware, Yu Xiaoran stated that the company will focus on the development of intelligence, AI automation, and online capabilities. Help users improve analysis efficiency.

Domestic substitution: building core advantages through "independent controllability+user co creation"
When it comes to domestic substitution, Yu Xiaoran said that one of the core advantages of domestic instruments is their independent and controllable supply chain. Autonomous and controllable supply chain not only ensures safety, but also reduces costs through large-scale production, helping users to "reduce costs and increase efficiency". This has become a common demand among users in various industries today.
In the update and procurement of liquid chromatography equipment in the customs system, Huapu Instrument, as a domestic manufacturer, successfully won multiple bids for the equipment, which is closely related to the process of "domestic substitution". Yu Xiaoran pointed out that winning the bid cannot be separated from the strong promotion of "solving bottleneck problems" and domestic substitution by leaders at all levels of customs, and is also benefited from the support of customs laboratory teachers and the efforts of the technical team. The daily work of the customs laboratory is very busy. In this situation, they are still willing to invest extra time to try out domestic instruments and provide improvement suggestions, ultimately establishing trust in the products.
